The redesign of the Royal Wellington Club website, hockey, tennis and padel since 1928, 1,600 members, 900 young players trained, in three languages.
Complete editorial and technical review of the Royal Wellington Club website (Brussels): 13 pages, disciplines, memberships, selections with a seasonal switch, private hire, physiotherapy, in French, Dutch and English. Content validated section by section with the club, 98 years of history, 1,600 active members, 900 young players trained.
01The problem
Outdated information on a site nobody dared touch.
Wrong founding dates, another season's prices, contacts long gone, selections announced out of season: the website of a 1,600-member club described a club that no longer existed.
And everything existed in three languages, so every error was repeated three times.
02What I built
A section-by-section review, validated with the club.
Thirteen pages gone through: hockey, tennis, padel, memberships, school, private hire, physiotherapy, contact. Every change traced in a review log, every figure checked with the secretariat.
A seasonal switch opens and closes the selections page without touching code, and the counters (98 years, 1,600 members, 900 young players trained) are rendered server-side for SEO.
03Where it stands
Live, multilingual pass to come.
The French version is validated and deployed on Cloudflare Workers. Dutch and English will be aligned in one pass once the French is finally frozen by the club.
Next steps: tennis page blocked on the price grid, Twizzit calendar, Instagram feed.
