servicevolee.be

The Belgian tennis ranking, live: 76,000 players indexed, hundreds of thousands of matches, ranking forecasts and a match counter.

Service-Volée takes the federation's public data (AFT) and makes it readable: over 76,000 player profiles indexed, over 300,000 matches, six best results, pending-points estimate and a ranking projection validated on a real case. A mobile match counter lets you umpire, share a live score and post a provisional result on the profile.

01The problem

The federation's website gives raw lists, not answers.

A Belgian tennis player wants to know three things: where they stand, what they need to move up, and how their opponents played. The data exists and is public, but scattered across tables unreadable on mobile, with no projection at all.

Parents, team captains and coaches redo the maths by hand with the season's points grid, and often get it wrong.

02What I built

A crawler, a database, and profiles that do the maths for you.

Service-Volée indexes the federation's public data every ten minutes: over 76,000 player profiles and over 300,000 matches. Each profile shows history, the six best results, estimated points for tournaments not yet integrated, and a ranking projection validated on a real case to the point.

Alongside: a mobile match counter to umpire and share a live score, an account area with pinned players, a ranking simulator and a rules chat backed by the official texts.

03Where it stands

Live on servicevolee.be, in continuous development.

The site has run in production since September 2026 on Next.js and Postgres, with an installable PWA and its own domain. The crawl keeps widening the index every day.

Next steps: team competitions in the estimates, the 2026-27 winter grid as soon as it is published, and a real launch with clubs.
